In order to be successful, the City of Baltimore has focused on building a coalition to support the vision. The private sector can play many roles in this work – funder, developer, thought partner, convener, champion. Revitalizing vacant properties reduces community strain, boosts the local economy, and enhances quality of life. A thriving Baltimore benefits the entire region and state. The Greater Baltimore Committee’s partnership in this work is a testament to the importance  of the private sector in this work.
