Learn more about the many ways DHCD can support your dream of homeownership through the  BuyIntoBmore website. BuyIntoBmore includes a comprehensive mapping tool for constituents to find city-owned property, and apply to purchase a vacant property from the City of Baltimore for a fixed price

I live in a neighborhood with a significant vacancy issue

You can report a number of issues using 311 either over the phone, through the web, or through the app. Did you know you can report requests for suspected vacant or abandoned properties to 311? You can also report issues with rodents, fire risk concerns, trees, and so much more. I am a resident in need of home repair or at risk of losing my home

One of the most important things we can do to eliminate vacant properties is to prevent more vacancies. Baltimore City DHCD provides a wide-range of assistance programs through the homeownership and housing preservation team. You may qualify for assistance for home repairs, weatherization improvements, or tax sale prevention. Contact DHCDinfo@baltimorecity.gov to learn more.
